Ted Nugent

Ted Nugent, born in 1948, first picked up the guitar when he was five years old. He grew up in the era of Motown, and was mesmerized by the energy of artists like Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, and especially James Brown. He would put bands together with schoolmates during the 50’s when he was still a young child. Since then he has gained fame through the Amboy Dukes and his own solo material. Ted is having the most fun of his life nowadays. “If the thirty year old Ted Nugent showed up tonight, I’d kick his ass. I’m so much better focused now.”
