Tom Hamilton

Tom Hamilton is the bassist a founding member of Aerosmith. He grew up right outside of Boston, and met Joe Perry when he was a very young kid. In 1970, they formed Aerosmith. Most clubs wanted them to play top 40 hits, but the band wasn’t interested in that. They wanted to play their own songs. “We only took gigs where we could play the songs we wanted to play. It was more of a concert kind of vibe than a club vibe.” Tom has been a member of Aerosmith since the beginning and continues to perform with the band today.
